Score 91/100 · Drink 1998-2013, Robert Parker, Dec 1998

The 1995 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve (2,400 cases) dominated a flight that included fourteen of its peers. It exhibits a saturated purple color, as well as a youthful yet promising nose of toasty new oak, briery fruit, cassis, and licorice. The wine is concentrated and pure, with sweet tannin, adequate acidity, and medium to full body. A seamless, beautifully proportioned Cabernet Sauvignon, it should be at its peak with another 2-3 years of bottle age, and keep for 15 or more. Tel. (800) 963-9454; Fax (707) 963-7035.
