If Carter's 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer To Kalon The OG lacks a bit of the complexity and dimension shown by the GTO, it's still a tremendous wine, capable of two decades (or more) of longevity. A rich, dark-fruited effort, loaded with cassis, black cherries and dark chocolate, it's full-bodied and concentrated, with a long, velvety finish.

The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard The O.G. is another compelling wine from Mark Carter. Beautifully perfumed and understated, the O.G. is all class. Even with all of its obvious richness, the O.G. is elegant, nuanced and beautifully layered, all qualities that will serve it exceptionally well over the next two decades. I loved it.
Another incredible wine, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard The O.G. boasts a massive bouquet of ripe black fruits, tapenade, chocolate, and spice box, with some graphite and lead pencil notes emerging with time in the glass. Ripe, full-bodied, powerful, and decadent, as well as perfectly balanced, it's another gem in the lineup that can be enjoyed any time over the coming two decades or more.
