Score 89/100 · Drink 2005-2017, Robert Parker, Feb 2005

The Bordeaux-like 2001 Affinity exhibits a deep ruby/purple-tinged color as well as complex aromas of violets, red and black currants, graphite, and subtle oak. Medium-bodied with good acidity, ripe tannin, and fine balance, it is accessible enough to be drunk now, but promises to last for 10-12 years. Tel. (707) 252-2250; Fax (707) 265-9162
