Score 92/100 · Jeb Dunnuck, Jul 2021
The 2019 Zinfandel Dry Creek Valley offers a slightly darker, more exotic style in its plum, blueberry, and black cherry-like fruits as well as damp earth, bouquet garni, and toasted spice. It's another beautifully balanced, elegant wine from Officer, yet there are enough tannins to warrant a year or two of bottle age.

The 2019 Zinfandel Dry Creek Valley, aged in 20% new French oak, opens with bright blueberry coulis, lavender, tea leaves and potpourri scents. The medium-bodied palate explodes with perfumed, spiced fruits, softly textured and finishing with an addicting juicy quality. 387 cases were made.
