Score 89/100 · Drink 2013-2019, Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Dec 2011

The 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon Bone Ash Vineyard Calistoga Estate flows across the palate with generous fruit and a sensual, radiant personality. It is a big, super-ripe wine loaded with blackberry jam, menthol, spices and licorice. This is a rich, heavy style that holds little interest for the drinker beyond the first glass.
