Tasting notes
The 2018 Syrah Lolita Ranch has a singular personality this year, its dark cassis fruit energized by sparks of Morello cherries, ground coffee and pure violet perfume. Full-bodied, the palate is surprisingly intense and fresh, with well-defined flavors and an incredibly long finish. There's so much more hiding underneath that veneer of youthful fruit, so allow it plenty more time in the cellar. Only 91 cases were made.

The 2018 Syrah Lolita Ranch is fabulous. Rich, bold and voluptuous, the 2018 races out of the glass with captivating intensity. Inky dark fruit, lavender, licorice, cloves and menthol all race out of the glass. A wine of depth and texture, the Lolita Ranch is just gorgeous. Moreover, it shows just how compelling the 2018 vintage is.
About the producer

Martinelli is a Sonoma benchmark for vineyard-designate bottlings—wines built to highlight how strongly a single site can shape Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Syrah, and Zinfandel. Across the range, the focus stays consistent: small-production bottlings that feel distinctly tied to where they’re grown.
