Tasting notes
Dee p red. Spice cake on the nose. Dense, ripe and powerful, with pepper and saline notes currently dominating dark fruits. Offers a generous texture despite possessing a rather low pH for a Paso Robles zinfandel.

From the torridly hot Paso Robles area, the dark ruby/plum-colored 2003 Zinfandel Dusi Vineyard (525 cases with 16.5% alcohol) reveals Amarone-like notes of figs along with raisin, berry, and blackberry characteristics. Full-bodied with loads of potency, and a hot finish, it should be enjoyed with cheese dishes or at the end of the meal, as one would with an Italian Amarone. (Release date 4/05) Tel.
