Tasting notes
The 2019 Petite Syrah Turley Estate is a heady, dramatic wine. Intense floral aromatics lead into a core of red/purplish berry fruit that stands apart from the other Petites, all of which are quite a bit darker. Rose petal, lavender, spice and mint build over time. The bouquet here is so captivating.

Inky purple-black, the 2019 Petite Syrah Turley Estate is loaded with cassis and blueberry confit with floral top notes and a mineral undercurrent. Full-bodied and firm, its fruits are surprisingly fresh in the mouth, and it finishes long and uplifted. 670 cases were made.
The 2019 Petite Syrah Turley Estate is inky, rich and explosive right out of the gate. Blackberry jam, crème de cassis, sweet spice, licorice and menthol all build in this extroverted, potent wine. Petite is so expressive here. The 2019 just gets better and better. Time in the glass brings out an enticing mélange of red and purplish fruit lifted by sweet floral notes.
