Score 91-93/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, May 2009

(100% cabernet sauvignon) Medium red. Reticent but pure aromas of cherry, blueberry and milk chocolate. Sweet, lush and rather open-knit, with a rocky, minerally quality and a note of milk chocolate dominating the mid-palate. Seems much more pliant and sweet than the 2006 version. Finishes with rather suave, round tannins and lovely length. A more refined expression of cabernet than the 2006.
