Score 88/100 · Drink 2020-2026, Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Dec 2018
The 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon (Napa Valley) is a very pretty entry-level wine from Aaron Pott. Crushed flowers, sweet red cherry, cedar and mint are laced together in this very enticing, gracious, mid-weight Cabernet. Drink it over the next handful of years.

Made up of 90% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Merlot and 3% Cabernet Franc, the 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon is medium to deep garnet-purple colored and reveals warm red and black plums, cassis and wild sage notes with wafts of menthol and tobacco. Medium to full-bodied, it fills the palate with juicy black berries and earth layers, framed by velvety tannnins and finishing with an herbal lift. 360 cases produced.
