2019 Parent - Corton Blanc

The 2019 Corton Grand Cru Blanc comes from rocky soils and is matured entirely in new oak with no bâtonnage. It has a tropical bouquet with grapefruit, passion fruit and light peach skin aromas and a touch of vanilla from the oak. The palate is well balanced with good weight, mango and the passion fruit note again underneath that veneer of new oak that will need 3-4 years to integrate. Quite seductive as it is, thanks to that popcorn note on the aftertaste.
