2019 Eisele Vineyard (Araujo) Cabernet Sauvignon Pickett

The 2019 Pickett is the second vintage of Eisele Vineyard's "third" label. A bit less was made this year than in 2018, since more of the production was used in the Cabenrnet Sauvignon and Altagracia labels. Deep garnet-purple in color, the nose is incredibly vibrant at this primary stage, delivering intense scents of freshly crushed blackcurrants, red and black cherries and camphor, plus hints of tapenade and wild thyme. The medium to full-bodied palate is chock-full of crunchy black fruits, with a chewy texture and savory finish.
