Bright dark red. Good peppery lift to the powerful aromas of dark fruits and spices. Densely packed but sappy and juicy, offering terrific lift for its rich texture. Really saturates the mouth with flavor. Finishes sweet, tactile and lightly saline, with a meaty suggestion of beef jerky, firm tannins and plenty of lingering spice. The label says 14.9% but it's really 15.2%, according to Capiaux.
