Tasting notes
Medium red in color, the 2022 Pinot Noir Louise is loaded with notes of framboise, and there’s also a slightly minty note that lifts from the glass, along with rocky earth and crushed flowers. Medium-bodied, it’s refined and elegant all the way though, with fine tannins and a pretty note of blood orange, but it’s not sanguine. Pretty and pure, with a lovely, refined texture, it’s beautiful now, but it’s going to be fantastic over the coming 15 or more years.

The 2022 Pinot Noir Louise is gorgeous and seductive, with its complex bouquet of dusty rose and ground cloves giving way to incense and dried black cherries. It's seamlessly silky in character with violet-laced wild berry fruits and tactile mineral tones, all propelled by juicy acidity. The 2022 doesn't miss a beat, tapering off spicy and long, staining yet fresh and with a web of fine-grained tannins that expertly frames the experience.
