Score 89-92/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous
Red-ruby color. Spicy aromas of redcurrant, mocha, minerals and iron. Dense and very ripe but penetrating and pure, thanks to lovely firm acidity. Gives the impression of very small berries. Finishes with spreading tannins and sneaky persistence.
