I love the combination of pink and yellow grapefruit aromas in this succulent but medium-bodied dry white. Then the wine whips around the corner and surprises you with its really long and intense finish. Drink or die!

Sourced largely from young vines in the Herzog and Mandelring Einzellagen, this lithe, buoyant 11.5% alcohol offering leads off with intensely varietally typical scents of sage and elder flower. Silken in feel, the palate introduces welcome juiciness of lime, grapefruit and cassis, and the finish nicely harnesses bitterness of green herbs and citrus peels for an invigorating, lightly mouth-scouring impression.
