Vibrant aromas of lemon, lime and smoked meat. Smooth on entry, then intense and firm in the middle, with lively lime and mint flavors complicated by dusty stone and a saline nuance. Very pure wine with a light touch: today this seems more 2010 in style than the 2010! The long, rising finish features excellent grip. A lovely 2009.

Dense spiced lemon nose. Richer and spicier than the Charmes. All round deeper and more impressive. (JH)

Restrained yet pungent aromas of lime, ginger and crushed stone. Juicy, spicy and lively, with lovely grip and perfume to its pure citrus and spice flavors. The longest and most vivacious of this set of 2009s today: this really dances on the palate and perfumes the mouth on the citrussy aftertaste.
