Good deep, saturated red. The nose offers an almost liqueur-like sweetness to the aromas of black cherry, licorice and gingerbread. Sweet, thick and seamless; at once rich and refined. This very sappy wine finishes long and sweet, with tannins buried under fruit. (ST)

Good bright red-ruby. Dark plum and mocha aromas lifted by pepper and mint. Sweet and layered, with lovely inner-mouth aromatic character. Still a bit tight, and slightly dry on the end, but this boasts very good length and precision.

Rich and not so confident. Quite dense, but not magisterial. Rather dry on the finish. (JR)
