2023 Bedrock Zinfandel Carlisle Vineyard

The 2023 Zinfandel Carlisle Vineyard shows its typical forward fruit but perhaps with a bit less textural intensity than in most years. Blue/purplish fruit, lavender, spice, mint and licorice build effortlessly in this mid-weight, nuanced field blend. The Zinfandel percentage here is quite high, at around 90%, while the remaining 10% is composed of a field blend of more than 40 varieties. This is a very sexy wine.
