Tasting notes
The 2021 Pinot Noir Abigail's Vineyard is another new wine in this range. Ethereal and nuanced in feel, the 2021 is an exotic offering. Blood orange, crushed red berry fruit, spice and licorice lend striking complexity throughout. This is an especially delicate, soft-spoken Pinot. (AG)

The 2021 Pinot Noir Abigail's Vineyard is a new wine from Cobb. Grapes come from 30-year-old vines planted at 435 feet in altitude in Goldridge soils. These vines were previously used for sparkling wine before Ross Cobb took over the farming in 2020. Made with 50% whole clusters, it has deep scents of strawberry and raspberry preserves, Earl Grey tea leaves, conifer, pipe tobacco and forest floor. The light-bodied palate is chalky and vibrant, with delicately styled, perfumed fruit and a long, fragrant finish. 125 cases were made.
