Medium ruby-purple in color, the 2018 Pinot Noir Mononi Vineyard opens with alluring rooibos tea leaves, raspberries, orange oil and violets—pure, exotic and super floral! The palate is silky and soft, with uplifted, restrained fruits and a perfumed finish.

The 2018 Pinot Noir Mononi Vineyard offers a brighter, slightly lifted nose of candied cherry and strawberry-like fruit supported by notions of violets, wildflowers, and spice. It too has a kiss of background oak, medium-bodied richness, and that classic up-front, sweet Russian River Valley fruit. Give bottles a year and enjoy over the following 7-8.

The 2018 Pinot Noir Mononi Vineyard is bright and effusive in the glass, with lovely spice, cedar, tobacco and rose petal accents that lend aromatic depth. In 2018, the Mononi is perfumed and gracious, with terrific energy and fine overall balance.
