The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Panek Vineyard is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon (clones 6, 7 and 169) from a vineyard situated near the well-known Vineyard 29, on a hillside near the Markham Winery north of St. Helena. A classic 2012 – dramatic and flamboyant – with blackberry and cassis fruit intermixed with melted licorice, white chocolate, espresso roast and a touch of wood. Full-bodied, deliciously round and succulent, it is a hedonistic concoction of yummy fruit, glycerin and silky tannins. Consume it over the next 10-15 years.
