Tasting notes
The 2019 Pinot Noir Klopp Ranch is laced with succulent black cherry, spice, menthol, licorice and mocha. Racy and exuberant, yet in the mid-weight style of the vintage, the Klopp Ranch offers tons of immediacy. Silky tannins wrap it all together nicely.

The 2019 Pinot Noir Klopp Ranch comes from the classic Goldridge Soils of the Russian River and offers a medium-bodied, elegant, vibrant, and complex style that delivers more red fruits as well as notes of iron, sappy herbs, and underbrush. It's another beautifully balanced, elegant wine from this estate. It has notable structure and should have a solid 7-8 years of prime drinking, if not longer.
Medium ruby-purple in color, the 2019 Pinot Noir Klopp Ranch is slow to open on the nose, hinting at notes of aniseed, dried flowers, graphite and black fruits. The palate is medium-bodied, firm and intensely fruited with appealing juicy uplift on the finish. 340 cases were made.
