Score 91/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, May 2013
(14.1% alcohol; a 60/40 blend of roussanne and grenache blanc; entirely from estate fruit): Bright aromas of cyanic peach pit and fresh herbs. Plump and lightly phenolic, with a distinct umami character and hints of nut oil and licorice to the savory, saline middle palate. Not at all a fruity style. Conveys a very high-pH impression but has plenty of tannic support.
