Tasting notes
Score 88/100 · Drink 1998-2015, Robert Parker, Apr 1995

This dense, backward, rich Cabernet remains unevolved and reminiscent of a barrel sample more than a finished wine. The dark, murky, ruby/purple color suggests there has not been much processing. The nose offers copious amounts of ripe, berry aromas lavishly touched by spicy new oak. This full-bodied, concentrated wine exhibits a touch of herbs in its abundant cassis flavors. The moderate tannin is neither astringent nor hard. Drink it between 1998-2015. Statisticians should note that it is 85% Cabernet Sauvignon and 15% Cabernet Franc, and that only 1000 cases were produced. Tel. (707) 963-4949
