Tasting notes
The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate is 95% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Cabernet Franc. Offering layers of blackcurrant fruit, it seems less evolved aromatically than the 2013 (and that makes sense, given the fact that it’s a year younger). It has a multi-tiered mouthfeel, but again, the crème de cassis, licorice and graphite dominate this young and still somewhat primary bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon. Forget it for several years and drink it over the next 15-20.

The flagship 2014 Marciano Estate is a deep, plush wine with a big center of ripe fruit to match its dark, sumptuous personality. A host of dark cherry, plum, licorice and espresso notes infuse this deeply textured, inviting Cabernet Sauvignon.
