Tasting notes
I continue to love the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon, just a ripe, up-front, incredibly sexy wine from this vintage that continues to drink brilliantly. Lots of currants, tobacco leaf, and lead pencil notes define the bouquet, and it's full-bodied, with loads of texture, sweet tannins, and a great finish.

A blend of 90% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Cabernet Franc and 2% Petit Verdot, the deep garnet-purple colored 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate opens with seriously earthy scents of truffles, underbrush and mossy bark with a core of freshly crushed blackcurrants, blackberries and black cherries with touches of sandalwood, rose hips and pencil lead plus a waft of cedar. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is laden with youthful, vibrant black fruit layers, with a firm, grainy frame and long, lively finish. 258 cases produced.
The 2015 Marciano Estate is shaping up to be a real beauty. Plump and expressive in the glass, the 2015 shows terrific freshness for the year. Dark red cherry, raspberry jam, mocha, sweet spice and a touch of new oak all develop in the glass. There is quite a bit to look forward to.
