Both blue and black fruits, notes of graphite, scorched earth, and violets, full-bodied richness, and ripe tannins emerge from this smoking good 2019. It's terrific today yet is going to shed some baby fat over the coming 4-5 years and should have two decades or more of overall longevity. 350 cases.

The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Atlas is a wine of gravitas, power and structure. Inky dark fruit, gravel, dried herbs, licorice and crème de cassis all open in the glass. The 2019 is dense and opulent, but also remarkably potent in its tannic profile. Readers should be in no rush here.
The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Atlas is suave, silky and beautifully perfumed, with more of a red-toned profile than is seen in most of these wines. Cedar, mint, cinnamon and dried flowers add aromatic nuance as this mid-weight, expressive Cabernet gains power and resonance over time.
