2016 Dakota Shy Cabernet Sauvignon Social Currency

The 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Social Currency is a very pretty wine with plenty of attractive red berry and floral character. Medium in body and gracious, this supple Cabernet is one of the more approachable wines in the range. I would give the 2016 a few years in bottle to develop more aromatic nuance, although the wine is already pretty expressive. The core of fruit is from Pellet, in St. Helena, which really does drive the wine's personality. Social Currency is bottled in magnum only.
