Tasting notes
Deep red. Aromas of cherry skin, licorice and black cardamom. Deep, rich and smoky, with powerful cherry and dark berry flavors. Picks up dusty tannins on the finish and turns wilder, leaving a strong note of cured meat in its wake.

The 2005 Pinot Noir Cuvee Alyce shows strong pomegranate notes intermixed with red currants, earth, spice box, and underbrush. It is deep ruby with a purple tinge, shows sweet fruit, medium body, and elegance in an almost Morey St.-Denis premier cru-like style. Drink it over the next 5-7 years. A terrific source of sensational Pinot Noirs and Chardonnays made very much in the style of the wines proprietor Stephen Hansel loves the most, white and red Burgundies, this 80-acre estate continues to build on a brilliant track record of high quality wines offered to consumers at sensationally fair prices.
