The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon is bright, focused and full of life. Crushed flowers, vibrant red-toned fruit, rose petal and white pepper lend notable aromatic brightness and energy. This mid-weight, classy Cabernet Sauvignon has aged impeccably. Like many wines, the 2015 here has lost some of its youthful exuberance as it heads into its second decade.

Blueberries and blackberries with licorice. Black truffles. So much blue fruit on the nose and palate. Full body and beautiful tannins that are layered and powerful. Drinking beautifully now.

The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon is dense, powerful and explosive. Still very, very young, the 2015 has not budged much since I tasted it last year. Dark red cherry, plum, mocha, iron, new leather, pressed rose petal and spice all run through this deeply textured, explosive Cabernet Sauvignon. A wine of raw power and concentration, the 2015 possesses tremendous richness from start to finish. It is going to need a number of years to develop the full breadth of its aromatics, but it is super-expressive even in the early going.

The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon is every bit as impressive as it was last June, when I tasted it just after bottling. Dark, sumptuous and alluring, the 2015 captures all the best qualities of the year. Super-ripe dark cherry, plum, licorice, dried flowers and mint are some of the many nuances that flesh out in this decidedly flamboyant Sonoma Cabernet. Even with all of its richness, the 2015 retains the very classic sense of structure that is such a signature of Françoise Peschon's wines.
