Tasting notes
The 2018 Pinot Noir Renatus is just as compelling as it was a year ago. Dark, sensual and enveloping, the Renatus possesses tremendous density and resonance. Blackberry, blueberry, spice, new leather and lavender infuse the 2018 with striking dimension. The Renatus is a selection of the best of the younger vineyards planted by Eva Dehlinger about a decade ago, mostly 943 and Calera clones.

The 2018 Pinot Noir Renatus is endowed with tremendous concentration and pure power. Dark red/purplish fruit, chocolate, leather, spice and menthol are all kicked up a few notches in this decidedly exuberant Russian River Pinot. Even in the early going, the Renatus is shaping up to be a real beauty.
