The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve is a very pretty, mid-weight wine. Eucalyptus, mint, rose petal and bright red berry are pushed forward in an attractive, mid-weight Cabernet Sauvignon built on class. The tannins are still a bit sinewy, so a few more years in bottle will only be beneficial. Today, it is the wine’s brightness and freshness that are most impressive. This is a very pretty, understated Cabernet Sauvignon that will appeal most to classically leaning palates.

This is very classy with mineral, black currant and spice character. Shows chili and Thai basil too. Full body, firm tannins and a bright and persistent finish. Extremely long and elegant. Best ever from here in years?
