Score 90/100 · Drink 2002-2008, Robert Parker, Aug 2002

The coolest Chardonnay site is Green Valley's Walker Station Vineyard (Sonoma). The 1999 Chardonnay Walker Station Vineyard Green Valley (331 cases) was harvested in November. It is a medium to full-bodied, elegant Chardonnay with plenty of tropical fruit aromas and flavors, excellent underlying acidity, and terrific purity, with the oak a complementary rather than intrusive element. It should drink well for 5-6 years. Tel. (707) 824-9879; Fax (707) 824-5843
