Tasting notes
The Cabernet Sauvignon-based 2010 Window Pane wraps around the palate with layers of dark plums, olives, cassis, leather and scorched earth. With time in the glass, the wine fleshes out nicely. This is an absolutely gorgeous bottle of wine from Kobalt. The 2010 is an unusual blend of 63% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Petite Sirah and 7% Carignane/Graciano, but it all works beautifully.

Anticipated maturity: 2013-2018. Mark Herold makes these delicious wines for Kobalt.
