Pale, bright yellow. More mute on the nose than most of the Meursault bottlings, with some vanillin oak currently blocking aromas of lemon and orange juice. Then supple, slightly sweet and easygoing, with harmonious acidity giving the wine a pleasing early balance. Fruity in the style of the year and persistent on the finish. I'd enjoy this premier cru on the early side.

Spicy, ripe and creamy on the palate. Lovely tropical juiciness on the finish. Dangerously low acid, but it gets away with it, with just enough freshness. I’d drink this in the short term. (RH)

The 2015 Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru le Cailleret has a very composed and elegant bouquet with attractive aromas of hazelnut and white chocolate accompanied by minerals. This is very pretty. The palate is very well balanced with a fine bead of acidity, almost Meursault-like in style thanks to its walnut and hazelnut notes, the finish nicely structured with a persistent spicy aftertaste. This might well become the best white from Boyer-Martenot this year.

Pale yellow. Deep, smoky aromas of yellow peach and toasty oak, plus a whiff of orange zest. Bright and tight on the palate, communicating a dusty, tactile quality to its flavors of yellow peach and stony minerality. This wine should give pleasure early but has the intensity and balance for at least several years of aging.
