Score 92-94/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, Sep 2012

Ripe peach, curry powder, ginger, butter and minerals on the complex nose. Dense, spicy, chewy and dry, with stone fruit and spice flavors spreading out horizontally to saturate the entire palate, like a sudden thunderstorm. Really impressive texture and richness here, plus a superbly long, echoing finish. The most complete 2011 in the cellar.
