Score 91-93/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, Sep 2018

Bright, pale lemon-yellow. Aromas of orange juice, fresh peach and crushed rock. Surprisingly silky on entry, then quite tight and firm but fine-grained in the middle, conveying a captivating chalky character and a pronounced spicy element. Aeration brought riper notes of peach and vanillin oak. Perhaps not quite as concentrated or gripping as the Meursault Genevrières or Perrières but offers lovely balance and finishes with captivating salinity.
