Tasting notes
A red with plum and berry character character, plus lots of dark chocolate. Full-bodied and very soft with a juicy, fruity finish. Better in 2016.

Exotic, beautiful and beguiling, the 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon Moulds Vineyard is simply stunning. Blackberry jam, graphite, cloves, violets and smoke jump from the glass in a vivid, articulate wine loaded with detail. The style is rich and textured, so very much in the Behrens house style, but at the same time, the 2010 has tons of detail, nuance and transparency. The firm tannins could use another year or two to settle down, but there is a lot to like here. Hints of orange peel and white pepper add complexity. The 2010 is 92% Cabernet Sauvignon and 8% Cabernet Franc.
