Tasting notes
From the northern corner of the Sonoma Coast. Planted in 1971. Fermented and aged in a combination of neutral oak and stainless-steel tanks for 16 months on the lees. Ripe and abundant guava, yuzu and gooseberries, with a reductive hint. Very much a Sancerre style, there is lots of multidimensional fruit, yet in a balanced, attractive and elegant way. It finishes with a bright dried-grass note. (FG)

The 2020 Sauvignon Blanc Bailhache is a very pretty wine that balances mid-palate creaminess with a good bit of energy. Apricot, white peach, flowers and mint grace this nuanced, soft Sauvignon Blanc from Ceritas.
