Tasting notes
The 2016 Pinot Noir Gap's Crown Vineyard is pliant, deep and quite sensual, with no hard edges and impeccable balance. Dark red and purplish berry fruit, spice, lavender and mint are all woven together. Racy and open-knit, with terrific depth, the 2017 will drink well right out of the gate. The Gap's Crown is another gorgeous wine in this range.

The 2016 Pinot Noir Gap's Crown Vineyard is pale to medium ruby-purple with a classic nose of woodsmoke and cola with blueberries, black cherries and black berries with hints of earth and bitter citrus peel. It gives up great spicy, broody dark fruit layers and is medium-bodied with firm, grainy tannins and wonderful freshness to carry the long finish. 485 cases produced.
