Tasting notes
The dark ruby-colored 2002 Pinot Noir Savoy Vineyard offers a broad, sweet nose of framboise intermixed with earth, subtle oak, and herbs. It cuts a nice swath across the palate with medium body, wonderful purity, and a long, smooth finish. It will drink well for 4-5 years. Tel. (707) 823-9586; Fax (707) 823-9589

Good dark red. Reticent nose combines currant, tar, camphor and licorice, with lovely violety lift. Juicy, lively and precise; sweet and balanced in the middle but not yet expressive or complex. Finishes with a firm tannic spine and very good length. Built to age.
About the producer
