Score 91/100 · Drink 2019-2026, Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, Jun 2016

(Boyer's vines are well located "in a triangle where Charmes abuts Perrières and Genevrières"): Bright yellow. Much more vibrant on the nose than the preceding village wines, offering scents of citrus fruits, white pepper, dusty stone and minerals, with a touch of reduction. Tightly wound, dry and classic, displaying very good concentration, healthy framing acidity and a fine-grained texture. The mounting finish dusts the palate with dusty stone.
