Score 91/100 · Drink 2006-2018, Robert Parker, Dec 2006

The 2004 Caravina (76% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Petit Verdot, and 4% Cabernet Franc) is an up-front, fragrant effort displaying notes of cedar, black currants, white chocolate, coffee, and spice box. Supple-textured with gorgeous levels of fruit, medium body, and a silky finish, it should drink well for 8-12 years. It is typical of the open-knit, precocious 2004 vintage. Tel.
