The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley offers a deep purple hue as well as an uber-ripe (but not over-ripe), full-bodied, decadent style that stays in check and balanced. Cassis, currants, leather, truffly earth, and herbal notes all emerge on the nose, and this is a beautiful Napa Valley Cabernet to enjoy over the coming 10-12 years or more.
The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate is a huge, opulent wine. A blast of inky dark fruit, chocolate, spice, plum and menthol gives the 2019 its racy, extroverted personality. The Estate is a typical wine from Cade that balances Howell Mountain intensity with plenty of Napa Valley lushness. The 2019 is sure to be a crowd pleaser.
The 2019 Cade Estate Cabernet Sauvignon is blended of 87% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Merlot, 5% Petit Verdot and 3% Malbec. Deep garnet-purple in color, it charges out of the glass with vibrant black cherry preserves, wild blueberries and mulberries scents, giving way to a core of cassis and star anise plus a waft of chocolate box. Full-bodied, concentrated and packed with bright black fruits, it has a fine-grained texture and long, energetic finish.
