Bright yellow. Liqueur-like ripeness to the aromas of mirabelle and stone fruits. Lush and sweet in the mouth, but with good energy to the creamy pineapple, pear and spice flavors. More harmonious today than the Genevrieres. This smooth, glyceral fruit bomb boasts a long, rising finish. Both this wine and the Charmes have volatile acidity levels between 0.5 and 0.6, says Boyer, which is higher than usual at this address. I'd enjoy this wine over the next six to eight years.

Bright light-medium yellow. Cool but thoroughly ripe aromas of lime blossom, pear, white pepper and crushed stone. Boasts lovely sweetness and a seamless texture but comes across as much more classic, and less thick, than the Genevrieres, with a chewy, dusty minerality leading to a powerful finish of liquid stone. This combines the best traits of Boyer's Charmes and Genevrieres.
