2010 Dancing Hares Mad Hatter Proprietary Red

The estate's 2010 Mad Hatter is a great example of this site and the vintage. Cool veins of graphite-infused minerality support a core of dark red and black fruit, mint, licorice, smoke, tobacco and incense. There is push and pull tension of fruit, acidity and minerality that makes the 2010 hugely appealing, even at this young stage. The 2010 is mostly Cabernet Sauvignon, with dollops of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot.
