2016 Bedrock Oakville Farmhouse Heritage

Once again, the 2016 Oakville Farmhouse Heritage Wine is one of the most compelling and singular wines in this range. The field blend of Negrette, Petite Sirah, Mondeuse, Zinfandel, Carignane, Chenin Blanc and other grapes harkens back to a time when Napa Valley was much less Cabernet Sauvignon-dominated than it is today. Lifted, aromatic and sensual, the 2016 is all class. This is the first vintage in which a small amount of white grapes were co-fermented. Stylistically, the 2016 is the most gracious and perfumed version of this wine yet.
