Score 93/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, May 2009

(12.9% alcohol) Bright ruby. Sexy red and black fruits on the nose, with suave floral and mineral qualities adding complexity. Deep in flavor but lively, offering sweet raspberry and blackcurrant flavors and a late note of candied rose. The rose note repeats on the finish, which is pure, sappy and very long. These grapes were picked at relatively low 21.9o Brix, according to Ross Cobb.
