Score 95/100 · Drink 2024-2049, Jeb Dunnuck, Jan 2020
Made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon (vines panted in 2001) brought up in all new French oak, the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate is a rich, powerful wine that shines in the vintage. Deep blackcurrants, red plums, Asian spices, chocolate, smoked tobacco, and a touch of violets all flow from this full-bodied, deep, rich, concentrated 2017. It has a great mid-palate, plenty of ripe tannins, and is going to benefit from 4-5 years of bottle age. It's will be a 25+ year wine.
